Fehmalee's Marinade & Grill Chicken


It's always good to season whatever you're cooking for maximum flavour. Meat and fish are must. Veggies, grains and beans can also benefit from seasoning and setting aside before serving. My marinade is a tasty way to bring out the delightful flavours of your food.

Simple Marinade

In a bowl add: 1 tbsp. of our Natural Flavour Enhancer, 1 clove of garlic grated, 1 small onion/ shallot grated, 1 tsp sea salt, 1 tsp ground black pepper, 1/2 tsp lemon zest, 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil, 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp honey (optional), juice of 1/2 a lemon

Combine contents and add 4 chicken breasts or 1 whole chicken with back bone removed and set aside for 1 hour or overnight in fridge. Remove from fridge 1 hour before cooking for meat to get to room temperature. Prepare grill, add chicken and cook till juices runs clear. Remove from grill then serve.
