Eve's Garden Smoothie


I've decided to incorporate veggie smoothies into my day. Not only is it delicious but, it's Packed with nutrients and does the body good. It’s best to vary veggie varieties if consuming daily (having a green smoothie once a week is healthier in the long run).

Here's my green smoothie recipe. (you can add maple syrup or honey for added sweetness)

Ingredients:

1 banana, 1 cup fresh spinach chopped, 1 cup kale chopped, 6 sprigs of coriander (cilantro), 1/2 carrot grated, 1 1/2 cups almond milk, 1/2 flavour enhancer, 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1 tbs flax seeds, a pinch of ground ginger.

Instructions:

Place the banana, spinach, kale, coriander, carrot, almond milk, flavour enhancer, turmeric, flax seeds and ginger into a blender. Cover, and puree until smooth. Serve over ice.
